My journey

Born and raised in Mexico, I initially pursued a career in medicine, attending med school for four years before ultimately deciding to follow my heart and graduate with a BFA in Dance and a certificate in Musical Theater. As a musical theater actress in Mexico City, I landed my first theater job as the lead of a musical while also working as an ESL teacher.

In 2012, I moved to Los Angeles to explore new educational and career prospects. I furthered my performing arts training at AMDA, UCB, and Millennium Dance Complex and started working on commercial, theater, short film, and independent film projects.

As I settled into life in Los Angeles, I began working as a Spanish teacher and translator and volunteered at a few non-profits. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for yoga, traveling to Rishikesh, India to become a certified yoga teacher with a specialization in yoga for children.

As my career continued to evolve, I found myself drawn to the world of marketing and social media, where I have spent the past eight years working with high-profile clients and leading campaigns for global philanthropists and non-profits. Along the way, my passion for activism and social justice kept growing, leading me to incorporate these values into my work and create content that is educational and inspiring in the fields of global justice and spirituality.

I recently completed a Masters in Educational Innovation and Technology, driven by a deep commitment to using technology and education as a means of creating positive change in the world.
