OctobHER was an inspiring initiative that I led for Global G.L.O.W. It was an opportunity to empower girls and amplify their voices on the United Nations International Day of the Girl, not just for a day but for an entire month.
Our mission was to tackle the critical issues that hinder progress towards gender equality by creating a platform where girls' voices could be heard. We worked with girls, thought leaders, partner organizations, and allies towards this common goal.
As the curator and producer of all the content for our social media channels, I ensured that each post was informative, engaging, and empowering. We partnered with @dayofthegirlsummit for 11 Days of Action. Throughout this period, we focused on addressing Gender-Based Violence, a significant challenge faced by girls worldwide.
Our campaign content was thoughtfully designed to educate, inspire and encourage people to take action towards promoting gender equity. We shared powerful girls' testimonials, educational posts, and calls to action, all aimed at empowering girls and advancing gender equality.
